Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Thermal Management Subject Matter Expert (SME) with 5 years of experience to lead and support the design, analysis, and optimization of thermal systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and thermal simulation tools, and will play a key role in ensuring thermal performance and reliability across our products and systems.

Eligibility Criteria

  • DME / Diploma in R&AC / bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Thermal Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in thermal design and analysis.
  • Proficiency in thermal simulation tools (e.g., CFD analysis, STAR-CCM+).
  • Strong understanding of heat transfer principles (conduction, convection, radiation) and fluid dynamics.
  • Experience with thermal testing equipment and instrumentation (e.g., thermocouples, IR cameras).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Experience in OEMs like STULZ / Scheider / Climavenita and worked in Electronics cooling, or data center thermal management.
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards and thermal compliance requirements.
  • Knowledge of Autocadd / REvit / Basic of HVAC, or other quality too

Job Description

  • Lead thermal design and analysis for products and systems, ensuring optimal heat dissipation and thermal efficiency.
  • Develop and validate thermal models using tools such as ANSYS Icepak, FloTHERM, COMSOL, or CFD software.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, electrical, systems) to integrate thermal solutions into product designs.
  • Conduct thermal testing and validation, including data acquisition and analysis.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers on thermal best practices.
  • Evaluate and select thermal interface materials, heat sinks, fans, and other cooling components.
  • Support root cause analysis and troubleshooting of thermal issues in prototypes and fielded products.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in thermal management.
