Eligibility Criteria

  • Degree required in an accredited Mechanical Engineering domain with minimum 5 years of experience.

  • Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.

Job Description

  •  Responsible to deliver enclosure designs in compliance with Caterpillar’s engineering standards and regional regulations.
  • Develop and validate sheet metal designs, ensuring manufacturability with knowledge of welding standards and cost-effectiveness.
  • Knowledge on diesel gensets, enclosure sub-systems component selection and design methodology process is required.
  • Knowledge on Creo, Teamcenter release process and SAP is added advantage.
  • Collaborate directly with global teams across the regions to align design requirements and project goals.
