Job Description

  • Operate and maintain HVAC, cleanroom, and fire-fighting systems with flawless precision.
  • Optimize energy use and streamline cleanroom operations.
  • Test and commission HVAC equipment and ensure validated cleanroom supplies.
  • Prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in line with industry standards.
  • Follow strict site safety protocols and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
  • Work flexible shifts, rotating between days and nights.
  • Survey and ready locations for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system setups.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure systems are efficient and safe.
  • Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC systems (PM, BM, PPM).
  • Prepare deliverable lists, schedules, labor hour estimates, resource requirements, and progress reports.
  • Apply knowledge of industry codes and standards such as ASHRAE, SMACNA, ISO, NFPA, DNV, and AMCA.
  • Perform calculations for heating, ventilation, and cooling requirements; determine appropriate HVAC equipment such as chillers, AHUs, heat exchangers, pumps, valves, exhaust fans, FCUs, pressurization units, grills, diffusers, pressure relief dampers, sand trap louvers, exhaust air louvers, penthouse louvers, and flexible ducts.
  • Maintain air pressurization procedures in cleanrooms.
  • Prepare Statements of Work (SOW) for HVAC contractors and coordinate with vendors.
  • Write technical procedures, guides, and work instructions.
  • Optimize HVAC systems without interrupting tools.
  • Experience with clean rooms and dust collection systems is an added advantage.
