Eligibility Criteria

  • BE/B.Tech from accredited Engineering Institute with 6-8 years of Oil and Gas/ Power Plant Experience.

  • Data Gathering & Analysis: Knowledge of data gathering and analysis tools, techniques, and processes; ability to collect and synthesize data from a variety of stakeholders and sources in an objective manner to reach a conclusion, goal, or judgment.
  • Definition drawings, 3D Modelling, Smart attributes.
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • MTOs/BOMs, NWD models Review, understanding Vendor Drawing.
  • Basic Working experience with 3D Design Tools: Advance Steel, Revit, Tekla, AutoCad & E3D.

Job Description

  • A solid understanding of international and industry-specific standards is required to ensure regulatory compliance. This includes
  • Knowledge of Piping design Codes and Standards such as ASME B 31.3 & B 31.8 & API
  • Knowledge of Structural Engineering Design Codes & Standards such as ASCE 7, IBC, AISC, OSHA etc
  • knowledge of Electrical discipline-related industry standards, (e.g., NEC/IEC, ISA, ASME, NACE, API, IEEE)
  • In-depth knowledge of different material types (e.g., carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel alloys) and their specific Properties
  • Familiarity with the main types of equipment and components used in oil and gas projects, such as pumps, valves, piping, fittings, flanges, and gaskets.
  • Performing regular data audits and setting up validation rules to ensure that all material data meets defined quality standards upon entry.
  • Knowledge of logistics planning, transportation, storage, and warehouse management to support material flow to project sites.
  • The ability to develop and communicate plans for managing changes to material master data and related processes.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with various project teams, including engineering, procurement, construction, and operations, to gather material requirements and resolve issues.
  • Knowledge of project phases: Understanding the documentation needs for the entire project life cycle, detailed design, and commissioning, is necessary for proper tracking
  • The ability to prepare and provide reports on document progress and status for project managers and management.
  • Strong computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Autodesk Software’s Knowledge such as Autodesk Plant 3D, Advance Steel, Revit. Inventor etc
  • Preparation MTO, BOM from Structural 3D Models.
  • Flexible and quick to learn global developments in EPC- Oil & Gas projects technologies and adopt.
  • Continuous improvement of the design activity in terms of technical knowledge, efficiency, quality, and productivity.
  • Provide virtual technical support for shop floor for the orders engineered & commissioning support.
