Eligibility Criteria

  • Overall, two years of experience in the areas of Metrology/Quality Assurance, in Manufacturing Industries is preferable.
  • Thorough knowledge of GD&T concept and experience with its application in product design and validation.
  • Experience in 3D Metrology software Volume Graphics for analysis of Computed Tomography Scan Data. Additionally, knowledge of Laser/Light scanning and the software GOM, Polyworks, Geomagic is preferable
  • Hands on experience working with Computed Tomography Scanning Machine will be an added advantage
  • Basic working knowledge of CREO Modeling Software

Job Description

  • Support the Geometrical and Dimensional Metrology of New products (First Article Inspection, Post Tool Correction Dimensional Validation, PPAP Measurement Reports etc.) and contribute towards deliverables adhering to the process and continuously evaluating scope of improvement.
  • Responsible for performance, efficiency and effectiveness of the team. Reviewing the same with the help of KPIs, submitting reports and implementation of necessary corrective actions in consultation with the management.
  • Regular interactions to understand measurement requirements from internal customers (Product Engineers / Mold Engineers) as per 2D/3D drawings and CAD Models, and effectively translating them into measurement programs in a Metrology Software.
  • Technical support in case of ambiguities in the field of part measurement and validation in terms of GD&T – ASME/ISO GPS.
  • Adherence to the process and ceaseless effort in reviewing the existing process to bring in Continuous improvements.
  • Work directly with our customers and suppliers to ensure quality standards are met 
  • Work in CT Lab to support for CT scanning of our products
  • Work with vendors for calibration of machine and instruments of the laboratory. 
  • Maintain and organize the CT lab documents using 5s techniques.
