Eligibility Criteria

  • Bachelor’s degree (full-time) in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.
  • 3 to 8 years of progressive experience in mechanical and electromechanical design roles.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with UG NX (Mechanical and/or Electrical) – mandatory.
  • Proven expertise in UG NX Electrical Routing.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in compliance with applicable export control and regulatory requirements.

Job Description

  • Lead and execute day-to-day mechanical and electromechanical design activities for assigned engineering programs, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, quality requirements, and project milestones.
  • Perform detailed electromechanical design, including mechanisms, actuations, and system integrations, using UG NX (Mechanical and Electrical).
  • Demonstrate strong proficiency in UG NX Electrical Routing, including routing definition, integration, and optimization.
  • Develop and release 3D models, detailed drawings, and associated engineering documentation.
  • Apply Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), tolerance analysis, and material selection to ensure robust and production-ready designs.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders such as Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Site Program Engineers to resolve technical issues and drive design maturity.
  • Incorporate manufacturing processes, tools, and methods into design decisions to optimize cost, quality, and producibility.
  • Evaluate material applications with respect to product life cycle, reliability, and long-term performance.
  • Create and interpret block diagrams to support system-level architecture and integration.
  • Generate and review technical documentation such as service bulletins, engineering letters, and design change documentation.
  • Apply advanced analytical and problem-solving techniques to identify risks, resolve complex design challenges, and implement effective solutions.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement through disciplined engineering practices and data-driven decision-making.
