Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
- Min 7 years of Experience.
- Background in procurement, commodity management, or supplier costing.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, XA).
- Exposure to VA/VE or design-to-cost projects.
Job Description
- Strong experience in OEM/commercial component costing and technical comparison.
- Knowledge of mechanical commodities (motors, gearboxes, bearings, pneumatics, hydraulics, sensors, fasteners, etc.).
- Experience in spend analysis, supplier comparison, and cost-reduction analytics.
- Good knowledge of should-costing methods for mechanical components.
- Strong analytical, data-driven thinking; proficiency in Excel (Power BI is a plus).
- Ability to understand specifications and compare alternate products.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
