Eligibility Criteria

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent technical field).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a test engineering or product qualification role.
  • Experience with mechanical test instrumentation: Load cells, strain gauges, displacement sensors, accelerometers, data acquisition systems (DAQs).
  • Proven project management experience in capital equipment procurement and qualification.
  • Proficiency with test automation or data acquisition platforms (e.g., LabView, TestStand, Python, or similar).

Job Description

  • Perform or oversee mechanical, durability, and performance testing of furniture, electrical components, or assemblies under BIS and internal standards.
  • Collaborate with product engineers to define test procedures and innovate testing methods to reduce cycle time and improve repeatability.
  • Analyze complex data sets, write comprehensive reports, and communicate insights and deviations to cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for test methods, calibration, and preventive maintenance schedules.
