Job Description

  • Design development of suspension and wheels system & its sub-components
  • Design /Development of 2-wheeler suspension and wheels
  • Design calculation of coil spring/Suspension parameters like roll stiffness frequency, Pitch bounce characteristics, etc.
  • Packaging & layout optimization, & detailing experience required.
  • Design & development of steering system & sub-components.
  • Knowledge of Steering geometry optimization, Steering efforts calculation, Packaging & lay out creation.
  • DFMEA, DVP & knowledge of GD&T.
  • Prepare 3D model & 2D drawings of suspension and wheel assemblies/sub-assemblies & components.
  • Responsibilities include achieving the overall system performance, cost and quality
  • Conduct design calculations to arrive at the agreed specifications of domain assembly & components to meet performance & durability targets.
  • Coordinate with validation team and signing-off all the key ride & comfort performance parameters and attribute requirements
  • Work for refining functional characteristics of the suspension components, system, features and the vehicle
  • Tolerance stack up analysis for assemblies & fitment on chassis.
  • 2D drawing preparation with GD&T principles & internal design standards.
  • Maintain drawing revisions with design change history.
  • Uploading 3D & 2D in PLM & ensure latest revisions.
