Job Description

Provide Electrical engg support for building, hospitals, community etc. for new greenfield as well as brownfield projects
Capability of leading and supervising in house MEP team
Conceptualization of Projects, scope finalization in consultation with customers, architects and other stakeholders
Equipment sizing & selection, Technology Management
Adaptation of International, Indian Standards and Industrial best practices (IS, ASME,NFPA, HIRA, Greenbuilding, TAC Rules, NBC, IEC, ASHRAE, ACGIH, best practices for hospitals, educational institutes etc).
Good hands on experience in Autocad, plant 3D, other relevant softwares
Design and engineering- Monitoring and control
Technical Risk Management
Training of In-house engg. team and vendors, site execution team.
Interface engineering and management
Value Engineering
Technical Audit and design optimization
Health and Safety Management
Inter disciplinary coordination
Relevant knowledge of Tata steel Standards and Safety norms.
Completeness and correctness of drawings, documents , maintain quality of deliverables
Timely delivery of project drawing, documents, deliverables
Engineering change management with justification
Estimation and Prebid Engineering, preparation of detail BOQ and Cost estimation of project
Preparation of proposal drawing/documents, preparation of scheme drawings, SLD, Piping, , Earthing layout, HVAC Layout, Amenities layout
Estimation of Man hours and scheduling and budget control
Preparation and checking of GFC Drawings, detail engineering BOQ, Equipment list, Instrument list, load list, cable routing diagram, earthing drawing etc.
Preparation of statutory drawings and documentation and obtaining approval from respective authorities
Preparation of technical specification, Tender analysis, TER (techno economic recommendation), Procurement engineering (Vendor drawing review and approval)
Field engineering support
Development of Engineering database, literature survey and documentation
As built drawings and documentation
Demonstrates superior inter-personal skills, conflict resolution, and Electrical design and engineering skills. Ensures open communication across teams. Problem solving, relevant software knowledge, Customer orientation.
Understanding of Industrial Best practice, Project management, Work under ambiguous environments. Able to set Quality standards of an organization, with previous proven track record in the same field.
Understands who the client is and what are the client's needs, provides realistic expectations, establishes specific customer satisfaction standards and actively monitors client satisfaction. Knowledge of organization's methodology and tools. Critical Thinking & Problem Solving to recognize problems or situations that are new or ambiguous.
