Mercedes-Benz is hiring for Trainee and CFD Thermal Engineer - Mechanical

• Qualification: B.Tech in Mechanical / M.Tech in Thermal/Automotive/Mechanical/Chemical/Aerospace Engineering with specialization in Heat Transfer and Fluids (preferable)
• Experience: 1-4 years

• Build, Run, Evaluate, Investigate and propose solutions/counter measures methodology for full vehicle Thermal 3D CFD simulations
• Interact with globally distributed technical teams.
• Responsible for quality as well as timelines for the assigned task
• Project planning & execution and results evaluation & delivery
• Ensure the fulfillment of all applicable guidelines, regulations and compliance measures

A candidate should

• have a good understanding of Heat Transfer and Aerodynamics/fluid dynamics fundamentals
• be skilled in computational fluid-dynamics (CFD using commercially available tools)
• have excellent oral/written/graphic communication skills

Added advantage

• a good understanding of numerical optimization techniques

Preferred

• Skilled in Star-CCM+
• Skilled in Ansa
• Scripting knowledge
• Basic understanding of automotive systems
• Basic German language skills
