Eligibility Criteria

  • Demonstrated skills and capabilities in analytical and critical thinking, and complex problem solving.
  • Comfortable with relational database concepts like column types and joins.
  • Experience with REST and scripting languages (e.g., Python) a plus.
  • Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) a plus.
  • Customer-focused and comfortable communicating with customers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • 1-3 years of experience supporting and implementing enterprise software applications a plus but not required.
  • Able to travel approximately 10-20%, including internationally.
  • Able to pass a security background check.
  • BS in computer science, engineering, MIS or another technical field.

Job Description

  • Meet with customers and translate their needs into detailed requirements based on best practices.
  • Follow DevonWay’s hybrid (waterfall/agile) methodology to design and configure application modules based on requirements.
  • Learn and follow the DevonWay SQA process, which requires engineers to write and execute functional tests to ensure acceptable functionality and prevent regression.
  • Follow Company standards for security and best practices.
  • Plan for and complete data conversions, interfaces to third-party systems, and reference data loads.
  • Design, build, test, and deploy SSRS and/or Business Intelligence reports.
  • Provide work estimates and plans to the project manager.
  • Conduct demonstrations, either over webinar or in-person, for deployed applications.
  • Provide support, including triage, issue investigation and resolution, and documentation.
  • Resolve issues in a timely manner and escalate as required.
  • Collaborate with team members within and outside of department for both resolving support tickets and project implementations.
  • Seek opportunities to learn, automate, document, share, educate, and improve processes where appropriate.
